Terre del Volturno IGT Pallagrello Bianco Caiatì 2016 Michele Alois
Description
Terre del Volturno Pallagrello Bianco Caiatì by Michele Alois was born in vineyards located in the Caserta municipality of Pontelatone, in Campania.
It is produced with 100% Pallagrello Bianco grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in mid-September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 30 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in the bottle for 4 months, before being marketed.
Golden yellow in color, Michele Alois' Caiatì opens to the nose with hints of yellow flowers enriched with fruity notes in which yellow plum and grapefruit, almond and medlar are recognizable. Slightly aromatic. On the palate it is warm and balanced, with perfect minerality and a good body.
Ideal in combination with fish dishes in general, this white goes perfectly with white meats. Try it with chicken cacciatore.
