Description

Dianthà di Pellegrino is a Sicilian white wine made from a blend of indigenous white grapes from the province of Trapani. The vineyards lie at an elevation between 0 and 150 meters above sea level, on clay-textured and calcareous-sandy soils, in a Mediterranean climate marked by mild winters, limited rainfall, and hot, breezy summers. The name Dianthà means "divine flower" and evokes the wine’s light, ethereal, and floral character.

Harvest begins in the first ten days of August. The grapes undergo gentle pressing, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, while maturation takes place in stainless steel for about three months, in order to preserve freshness, fragrance, and aromatic immediacy.

In the glass it shows a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. The bouquet is fragrant, recalling lemon zest, pineapple, and delicate nuances of white flowers. On the palate it is fresh and supple, marked by a pleasant gentle spritz that enhances its vibrancy and drinkability.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs with vegetarian first courses such as pasta with zucchini and mint, fresh cheeses like burrata and mozzarella, and light vegetable or fish fritters.
