Description

The Vermentino from the Geografico winery is a white wine that captures the essence of the Tuscan coast, expressing freshness and liveliness in every sip. This iconic grape variety finds its ideal habitat in the territory, thanks to the mild climate and sea breezes that enhance its aromatic profile. Its production is inspired by the desire to preserve the authenticity and purity of the fruit.

The harvest takes place at the end of August, during the cooler hours of the day, to keep the aromas of the grapes intact. After a gentle crushing and destemming, the must undergoes a cold maceration for several hours in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This process enhances the fruity fragrances and the typical freshness of Vermentino, providing balance and harmony to the wine.

In the glass, it presents a brilliant straw-yellow color. The bouquet is intense and refined, with aromas of white-fleshed fruit, enriched by citrus notes of grapefruit and lime zest, along with hints of peach and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with a sip that evokes fruity flavors and a pleasantly salty and persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with shellfish, seafood risottos, and lobster linguine.
