Description
The Valpolicella Classico by Allegrini originates from vineyards located on the hills of Fumane di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona.
It is produced mainly with Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the first decade of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-31°C for about 9 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in steel and for an additional 2 months in the bottle, before being released on the market.
The Valpolicella Classico by Allegrini has a ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose, it opens with intense fruity aromas, among which cherry stands out, enriched by fresh hints of pepper and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and lively but with time shifts towards a dimension of greater delicacy.
Perfect for accompanying appetizers and soups, it is ideal paired with pasta-based first courses, roast or grilled white meat, and as a summer red wine for fish-based dishes.
