Description

This Pinot Noir is a varietal wine that belongs to the Castelforte premium line, a curated selection of traditional Veronese labels. The name is inspired by the ancient Castle of Monteforte, built to defend against enemy attacks.

After the manual harvest of the grapes, a low temperature maceration and fermentation in steel vats takes place. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months in barrique.

It has a ruby red color. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of currant and blueberry, accompanied by notes of juniper, with vanilla and cinnamon in the background. On the palate it impresses with its integral freshness and persistence.

Excellent in combination with appetizers based on cured meats, roasts and grilled red meat.
