Venezia Giulia IGT Jakot 2010 Radikon
Description
The Venezia Giulia Jakot of Radikon comes from vineyards grown organically, located in the town of Tre Buchi, in the Gorizia municipality of Oslavia.
It is produced only from Friulano grapes, which are harvested entirely by hand, in boxes, during the month of September. The must ferments spontaneously inside oak vats, with 3-4 months maceration in contact with the skins. The wine ages in oak barrels for about 40 months, after which it remains to refine for a further period in glass before being placed on the market.
Radikon 's Jakot appears golden yellow in color. The nose opens with fresh sensations of almond and dehydrated fruit, well integrated with each other. In the mouth it shows medium-bodied wine, of fine harmony and a freshness of excellent persistence.
Perfect in combination with structured dishes, fried or grilled fish, it goes well with aged cheeses.
