Description

What type of wine is it

Jermann Chardonnay is a white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. It has a fresh, clean character, with a fruit-driven aromatic profile. It is a linear white, designed for those seeking a Friulian Chardonnay with good persistence.

Where it comes from

The wine comes from vineyards located in the heart of the Collio, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Jermann family has built its reputation through a passion for wine, earning a place among benchmark producers in Italy and around the world.

How it is made

The Chardonnay grapes are vinified as a white wine. The wine ages on the lees for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, before bottling and release. This approach preserves the freshness of the fruit.

Tasting notes

The color is a bright straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose it opens with a bouquet of banana and ripe Golden Delicious apple. On the palate it is fresh, with excellent persistence.

Food pairings

It is perfect to accompany creamy vegetable soups. It also pairs well with fish and stewed shellfish, where the wine’s freshness supports the delicacy of the dish.

When to serve it

It is a white suited to a light meal based on vegetables or seafood, as well as to an informal aperitif. Serve in a medium-sized glass that enhances its fruity aromas.
