Venezia Giulia IGT Ograde 2013 Skerk

Skerk 's Venezia Giulia Ograde was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Karst.

It is produced from Vitovska, Malvasia, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. This white takes its name from the toponym of the parcel where the winery is located today and where a vineyard of Vitovska and Terrano once stood. The vinification takes place with a long maceration, then the wine ages in barriques at controlled temperature for about 12 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by a coppery yellow color. The nose opens with delicate floral hints of roses and cloves, enriched with pleasant fruity notes of apricots and peach. On the palate it is agile and juicy, pleasantly savory and with a delicate and almondy finish.

Perfect to accompany fish and shellfish dishes, it is ideal in combination with soups.
