Description
The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Santa Caterina was born in the vineyards of Borgo Tre Rose in Montepulciano.
It is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, the main grape of the region. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine evolves in Slavonian oak barrels for at least twenty four months. Bottle refinement follows for about twelve months.
The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Santa Caterina di Tre Rose has an intense garnet red color. Its aroma is complex, with a plum aroma that blends with spicy notes (among all coffee) and with a hint of fresh wood. In the mouth it is full and elegant, with the right presence of tannins.
Ideal with red and braised meats, it goes well with aged cheeses.
