Description
That of Vosne-Romanée is a territory that already has a great charm in itself. They are, then, wines like those signed by the Domaine Louis Latour to give confirmation of this Burgundian finesse that has few comparisons.
It is made up of 100% Pinot Noir, harvested from vines around 30 years of age on a clay soil with good iron supply. Fermented in steel tanks and aged in wood for 10-12 months.
The color is ruby red, deep but lively. The nose shows the varietal traces of the fruit, embellished with darker notes of blackberry and a spicy trace of clove. The taste is elegant, fine, straight, velvety in the tannic perception and endowed with a beautiful sapid tension.
To be combined with a terrine of livers.
