Description

Whiskey The Hive is produced by the historic Wemyss company in Scotland.

Obtained from a blend of 16 malt whiskeys and built on the Speyside style, this distillate ages for 12 years in barrels intended for the production of sherry, in part new.

The nose has delicate aromas of beeswax and honey syrup, enriched with notes of apple, mandarin and lemon. In the mouth it is revealed fat and sweet, with a delicate but decisive hint of honey that well represents the name of this whiskey, "Hive", which is about beehive in Italian. The finish is light, woody and elegant, accompanied by notes of cream and vanilla.

Perfect to taste it at the end of a formal evening dinner.
