Founded in 1964 in Greve in Chianti, Viticcio represents one of the most authentic voices of the Tuscan wine scene. The winery was created with the aim of maximizing the potential of Chianti Classico, transforming the family vineyards into a life project that combines tradition, passion, and a contemporary vision. Today, Viticcio encompasses two prestigious territories – Chianti Classico and Maremma – with over 120 hectares cultivated under organic farming, for a story that starts from the land and reaches the glass.

The production philosophy rests on two pillars: respect for the environment and technological innovation. The vineyards, maintained using organic and biodynamic methods, reflect the commitment to preserving soil fertility and passing on a living and flourishing heritage to future generations. Every label is born from the encounter between Sangiovese, international varieties, and rare native varieties such as Foglia Tonda, brought back to light after centuries of oblivion. From the long-lived and complex reds of Chianti Classico, like the Prunaio Gran Selezione, to the fresh and Mediterranean wines of the Maremma, passing through internationally inspired Supertuscans, Viticcio offers a range of interpretations that tell the richness of the Tuscan wine heritage.
