This story begins in 1934, in the province of Verona, when Augusto Dal Cero bought a very particular land in the municipality of Roncà, dominated by two extinct volcanoes: Crocetta and Calvarina. He knows that hard work awaits him on those uphill terrains, but he is not the type to be scared if he has to work hard. When Augusto dies, the two sons, Dario and Giuseppe are still very young. It's up to them to broaden the horizon of their father's dream: the lands of the Roncà estate dedicated to vines grow progressively, but that's not all. At the beginning of the 1980s, Dario and Giuseppe turned their attention to Tuscany, to Cortona, in a land of great winemaking traditions. It is here that they decide to devote themselves to the production of great red wines. In recent times, the Dal Cero family adds a third estate in Valpolicella to the two historic estates.

In Tuscany the production is the most consistent and includes the exciting Miraly rosé (obtained from Syrah, Sangiovese, Vermentino), Montecchiesi Vermentino Chardonnay (91 pt LM), and of course the Syrah, with Klanis and Selverello, both aged in barrique.
