However, there is no shortage of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier vineyards, which add complexity and variety to the blends. Among the best-known villages of the Montagne de Reims, several Grand Crus stand out, considered of absolute excellence for the quality of their wines. Among these, Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Verzy are renowned for their robust and aromatic Pinot Noir , while Mailly and Sillery are prized for Champagnes that display great elegance and finesse .
