Blanc de Blancs is a French term that can be translated into Italian as "white from white grapes". For Champagne , and for other similar classic method sparkling wines such as Franciacorta, it is generally used to designate wines produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, unlike Blanc de Noirs , produced entirely from red berried grapes or the more classic grape blends with white and red berries.

The Blanc de Blancs , fresh, elegant and characterized by fruity aromas of apple and citrus when young, develop intriguing hints of honey and brioche over time. Among the Champagnes they are the ones that best lend themselves to aging, especially if they come from the Côte de Blancs, the area most suited to the cultivation of Chardonnay.
