Description

This Merlot from Robert Mondavi's Private Selection line comes from famous vineyards of the Central Coast, California, where the cool climate slows down the maturation process of the grapes, resulting in greater aromatic richness.

100% Merlot wine. After a strictly manual harvest of the grapes, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine spends a period of aging in wood in which it has the opportunity to refine its organoleptic characteristics.

Of a very concentrated ruby red color, it opens to the nose with notes of black cherry, plum and blueberry, supported by hints of black olives, tea leaves and spicy hints. In the mouth a roasted taste makes its way, which blends with aromas of mocha and ripe plum. The finish is characterized by a remarkable persistence.

It is perfect in the company of roasts and spicy dishes.
