Description

The Pinot Grigio “Settimo Miglio” is a white wine produced in Veneto from Pinot Grigio grapes from the DOC of Le Venezie. The name refers to the location of the Fabiano winery, situated seven miles from the Verona Arena according to the ancient Roman measurement, emphasizing the connection with the local area and winemaking tradition. The vineyards grow on clay soils and are trained using the spur-pruned cordon system.

The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed to preserve their aromatic delicacy. After pressing, the must is clarified by decantation and then undergoes white fermentation at controlled temperature, a process that helps maintain the varietal freshness and the elegance typical of the grape.

It displays a bright straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The bouquet is refined and elegant, with fruity and floral notes typical of Pinot Grigio. On the palate, it is dry, soft, and fresh, featuring a balanced and pleasant fruity character.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with appetizers, light dishes, eggs, salads, and fish-based preparations.
