Description
A large number of malt and cereal whiskeys are mixed in Suntory whiskeys, achieving a meticulous harmony that reveals the high stature of Japanese craftsmanship. An icon of luxury, among the most prestigious whiskey brands in the world, the 17 Years Old of the Hibiki line is the result of 17 years spent in the characteristic Mizunara casks.
Of a beautiful intense amber, at the sight, it releases elegant fruity aromas of peach, apricot and melon, accompanied by floral notes of rose and lily, with a final touch of lemon leaf. On the palate hints of toffee and black cherry emerge, reached in a complex balance by spicy references of vanilla and Japanese Mizunara oak, therefore by a lychee aftertaste. The finish is pleasantly sweet and fruity.
Excellent to sip straight to fully appreciate its craftsmanship.
