Description

Alois Lageder's Moscato Giallo Vogelmaier is made from Moscato Giallo grapes grown at the Vogelmaier estate near Lake Caldaro, where the vineyards flourish on sandy, gravelly, and partly clayey soils.

Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel, with aging on fine lees also in steel; part of the vinification involves contact with stems and skins, enhancing the wine's aromatic character, structure, and complexity.

It presents itself bright and clear, with a light yellow color and subtle greenish reflections; the aromatic profile is intense, floral and fruity, recalling white peach, citrus fruits, and spices, while the palate is medium-bodied, balanced, fresh, mineral, and enriched by delicate berry notes.

It pairs well with flavorful appetizers, smoked fish, and white meat.
