Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Flora Sauvignon 2016 Girlan

The Alto Adige Sauvignon of the Flora di Girlan line is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Bolzano in Cornaiano, Monticolo and Appiano.

It is produced entirely with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After a short maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages on fine lees for 8 months in steel tanks before being bottled.

This Sauvignon by Girlan is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet, with hints of elderberry and grapefruit flowers, enriched with vegetable notes of nettle, celery and tomato leaf. On the palate it is dry and warm, with good freshness and flavor, with a pleasant acidity and persistence.

Perfect to accompany seafood first courses, it is ideal in combination with shellfish.
