Fernet Branca cofanetto Mug
Description
Fernet-Branca is an amaro with an inimitable taste and personality, born from a recipe created in 1845 which involves the use of 27 herbs, spices and roots from 4 continents: rhubarb from China, gentian from France, galangal 'India and Srilanka, European and Argentine chamomile just to name a few. The obtained blend rests for 12 months in oak barrels to refine its aromatic characteristics.
Brown in color tending to red, it releases intense notes of peppermint and spicy licorice on the nose. The taste is fresh, almost balsamic, with sensations of fresh mint, chamomile and citrus peel. It closes on a pleasantly bitter finish, with hints of cooked plum.
Ideal for both an aperitif and an after dinner, it is particularly thirst-quenching combined with cola, chinotto or ginger ale. Try it in the characteristic Hanky-Panky drink.
