Description

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Calcarole of the Guerrieri Rizzardi winery was born in historic vineyards located in the foothills of Negrar, in the classic Valpolicella. High quality wine, it has received several prestigious awards over time.

It is produced with Corvina, Rondinella and Barbera grapes, left to dry for about 3 and a half months. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 30 days, then malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 36 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant notes of berries. On the palate it is pleasantly long, with a fine tannic texture and a full structure. Persistence is long and deep.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
