Description

This Amarone della Valpolicella was born inside the Tenuta di Naiano, owned by the Bellora family, located in the splendid Veronese hilly stage.

It is mainly obtained with Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected manually in the second half of September. After the harvest, the grapes are left to dry in special fruit rooms for about 4 months, during which they lose almost 40% of their weight. In January the crushing and fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by a maturation in Slavonian oak barrels and in French second passage barriques. Finally, the wine ages for another 6 months in glass before being marketed.

Amarone Bellora has an intense ruby red color, almost impenetrable. The nose offers a fine and elegant perfume, with notes of overripe fruit, which are accompanied by spicy hints of pepper and cloves, followed by mineral hints and a pleasant closing of tobacco. In the mouth it shows an imposing body and a great elegance, which lead to a persistent and fruity finish.

Perfect with stewed meats, roasts and game, it also finds intimate complicity with seasoned cheeses and typical local dishes, such as Amarone risotto.
