Description

Tedeschi's Amarone della Valpolicella was born in vineyards located on the gentle hills of Mezzane and Tregnago, in the heart of Pedemonte di Valpolicella.

It is produced 30% with Corvina grapes, 30% with Corvinone grapes, 30% with Rondinella grapes and 10% with Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara and Dindarella grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. After a soft pressing, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C for about 40-60 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for 3 years and for a further 6 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with an amber nail. The nose opens with aromas of vanilla, enriched with pleasant hints of black currant, blueberry and cherry. On the palate it is pleasantly round, with a well balanced body. The wine has a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
