Description

Bruno Giacosa's Barbaresco Rabajà Falletto is one of the great red wines of the Langhe, produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from the historic Rabajà cru, located in the municipality of Barbaresco. This vineyard is considered one of the most prestigious in the appellation and produces wines of extraordinary elegance, depth, and longevity. The label perfectly represents Bruno Giacosa's classic and rigorous style, expressing the character of the grape variety and the terroir with great purity.

The grapes are harvested and selected with great care to preserve their quality and integrity. Fermentation takes place traditionally in steel tanks, with maceration on the skins to extract structure, aromas, and complexity. The wine then continues to age in large oak barrels for a long time, during which it develops balance, aromatic depth, and elegant, well-integrated tannins.

In the glass, it displays a luminous garnet red color. The bouquet is complex and refined, with aromas of dried roses, violets, cherries, and small red fruits intertwined with spicy, balsamic notes and subtle nuances of licorice. On the palate, it is structured and elegant, with noble, well-defined tannins supported by a balanced freshness that leads the sip to a long, harmonious, and persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with braised meats, game, important roasts and mature cheeses.
