Description

Barbera d'Alba Superiore by Chiara Boschis comes from vineyards located in the Cuneo municipality of Monforte d'Alba, in Piedmont.

It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand, starting from the second week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with automatic temperature control around 28 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 16 months in second passage French oak barrels and for 2-3 months in bottle before being marketed.

Barbera d'Alba Superiore by Chiara Boschis has a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with fruity hints of small red fruits, plum and blueberry, enriched with light spicy notes. On the palate it is full, enveloping and warm.

Perfect to accompany first courses and grilled white meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
