Description

The Barbera d’Alba by Bruno Giacosa is a Piedmontese red wine that represents one of the most authoritative expressions of the Barbera grape in the Langhe. Made exclusively with Barbera grapes from carefully selected vineyards, this wine embodies the quality philosophy and elegance that have always distinguished the work of the Giacosa winery, a symbol of oenological excellence in the Italian landscape.

Vinification involves a maceration of 10-12 days in contact with the skins, followed by aging in large oak barrels for a period ranging from 12 to 15 months. This technique allows the best enhancement of the structure and intensity of the grape, while maintaining its freshness and aromatic typicality.

On the nose, it expresses intense varietal aromas with clear notes of wild berries, ripe cherry, and violet. On the palate, it reveals itself as broad, fresh, and structured, with a perfect fusion between expressive power and finesse, supported by a well-integrated alcoholic component and a long, harmonious finish.

Perfectly paired with flavorful first courses, risottos, grilled or stewed red meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
