Description

Barbera d'Alba Serra from the Massucco winery was born in the heart of the vineyards located in the Castagnito Roero terroir, in Piedmont.

It is produced from 100% Barbera grapes selected and harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, then the wine ages in oak barrels for a minimum of one year.

It is characterized by a very intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of fruity notes, with hints of blackberries, cherries and strawberry jam, enriched with spices such as cinnamon, vanilla and green pepper. On the palate it is full-bodied, pleasantly acidic and fragrant.

Perfect to accompany pasta or risotto first courses, it is ideal in combination with soups and cream soups.
