Description

Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell'Uccellone di Braida comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Rocchetta Tanaro, in Piedmont.

It is made from 100% Barbera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 15 months in small oak barrels and for 12 months in bottle, before being released on the market.

The Bricco dell'Uccellone di Braida has a very intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a rich and complex bouquet, with hints of red fruit on a background of mint, vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is soft and remarkably structured, with a long and pleasantly aromatic finish.

This wine is perfect to accompany meat-based first and second courses, roasts and aged cheeses.
