Description

Barolo by Beni di Batasiolo is one of the most prestigious Italian wines, produced in the Langhe region from Nebbiolo grapes, the iconic variety of this area. This wine embodies excellence in winemaking, authentically expressing the tradition and character of one of the world’s most renowned wine regions. The particular soil and climate conditions of the production area contribute to defining a profile of great structure, elegance, and complexity, making Barolo a benchmark among the great red wines.

The winemaking process includes destemming and fermentation with a prolonged maceration of the skins in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with regular pump-overs to enhance color and aromatic component extraction. Aging initially takes place in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a period in stainless steel and subsequent bottle maturation, allowing the wine to develop greater harmony and balance.

It shows an intense garnet red color. The bouquet is broad and complex, with notes of dried fruit, flowers, sweet spices, and toasted hints, accompanied by subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, it displays a full and enveloping structure, supported by balanced tannins and a pleasant freshness, which give the wine elegance, depth, and a long finish.

It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game, roasts, and aged cheeses.
