Description

Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Boscareto area of Serralunga d'Alba, this Barolo Riserva from Batasiolo represents an excellence of the denomination. The combination of the terroir's vocation and expert winemaking gives life to a wine of great nobility and longevity, designed for lovers of structured and complex reds.

The process begins with destemming followed by fermentation with skin maceration for at least 10-12 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with frequent pump-overs. Aging takes place in Slavonian oak casks and then in stainless steel tanks, for a further period in the bottle.

It appears an intense garnet red with orange reflections. The bouquet is broad and ethereal, with persistent notes of dried fruit and flowers, including prominent rose and violet, accompanied by hints of sweet spices, toasted notes, and leather. On the palate it displays a solid structure, with evident yet soft tannins, delivering a full, austere, and captivating sip.

Perfect with red meats, game, roasts, or aged and flavorful cheeses.
