Barolo DOCG Bricat 2013 Giovanni Manzone
Description
The Barolo Bricat of Manzone Giovanni was born in the Bricat, Gramolere, Monforte d'Alba and Langhe vineyards.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested by hand between the first and second ten days of October. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28-31 ° C for about 15 days, then the wine ages in barriques for 24 months, before being bottled.
Bricat is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a large, vigorous and persistent bouquet, with pleasant hints of blackberries and blueberries, enriched with pleasant notes of hazelnuts and chocolate. On the palate it is complex and elegant, with tannins that envelop the palate.
Perfect to accompany braised and roasted red meat, it is ideal in combination with truffle foods and aged cheeses.
