Description

This Barolo from Batasiolo comes from the prestigious Vigneto Bofani, located in the Bussia area of Monforte d’Alba, within the Barolo denomination. The unique terroir of this area, renowned for its historic winemaking tradition, gives the wine structure, complexity, and remarkable aging potential.

Vinification begins with destemming and fermentation of the grapes, accompanied by maceration on the skins for a minimum of 10-12 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks with regular pump-overs. The wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels, continues aging in stainless steel tanks, and is finally refined in the bottle.

It shows an intense garnet red color with orange highlights. On the nose, it offers a rich and persistent bouquet of dried fruits, red fruit preserves, flowers, spices, and toasted notes. On the palate, it is full and robust, with well-present yet pleasant tannins, and a balanced acidity that perfectly supports the alcohol structure.

It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game, roasts, or aged and flavorful cheeses.
