Barolo DOCG Cannubi 2012 Michele Chiarlo
Description
Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Canunubi comes from vineyards located in the municipality of La Morra, in the province of Cuneo.
It is made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in large oak vats at a controlled temperature of 27-30 ° C, for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels and for another 15-16 months in bottle, before being put on the market.
Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Cannubi has a dense and bright garnet red color. The nose opens with refined hints of blackberry and black licorice, enriched with notes of cinnamon and tobacco. In the mouth it is elegant and aristocratic, with excellent structure.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
