Description
The Barolo of Duchessa Lia is a noble wine obtained from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the hills of Piedmont, famous for its impressive structure and great potential for evolution over time. It represents one of the highest expressions of Italian winemaking.
The vinification involves red fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by a long aging, part of which in wooden barrels, to fully develop the organoleptic characteristics of the grape and promote the balance between body and tannins.
The olfactory profile opens with floral and fruity scents, enriched by spicy notes and hints of worked leather. On the palate, it presents itself as full and enveloping, with a robust body and well-integrated tannic texture that supports its long persistence.
It is ideal with structured main courses like braised meats, Fassone fillet, or grilled lamb.
