Description
The Barolo by Negretti is an elegant and structured red wine, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced from three MGAs: Bricco Ambrogio, Rive, and Bettolotti. The vineyards are located between the municipalities of Roddi and La Morra, at an altitude ranging from 230 to 270 meters above sea level, with predominantly south and southeast exposures, on marly, calcareous, and sandy soils.
The vinification involves fermentation on the skins for 14-18 days in stainless steel, at a controlled temperature between 24°C and 30°C. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months in French oak barriques and for 18 months in Austrian oak barrels, balancing modernity and tradition.
The aromatic profile opens with red and black fruits, physalis berries, white pulp, and spices that enrich the bouquet. On the palate, it is intriguing and direct, with straightforward drinkability enveloped by elegant tannins and mineral sapidity. A wine distinguished by its stylistic consistency and harmony among the different crus from which it originates.
Perfect with meat main courses, important roasts, or aged hard cheeses.
