Bastarda Rossa Birra alle Castagne Birra Amiata

The Bastarda Rossa di Birra Amiata represents one of the best known products of the Amiata brewery. Produced with IGP chestnuts from Monte Amiata, this beer is part of the special artisanal ones that keep the name of Tuscany high in the Italian brassicolo scene and beyond.

The Bastarda Rossa has an amber color, with evident copper reflections. The nose is dominated by the fruity aroma, typical of Belgian yeasts. In the mouth it offers a first caramel hint followed by the chestnut flavor, which is the prince in this beer in which the hops are not very noticeable,

It is perfect in combination with soups and stewed meats, excellent with cold cuts and cured meats and aged cheeses.
