Description

The Bolgheri Bianco Campo al Faro is born in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir, in Castagneto Carducci, where the seasons always carry the scent of summer, sea breeze, and opportunities left waiting.

It is produced from a blend composed of 70% Vermentino grapes and 30% Viognier grapes. The harvest is conducted separately for the two varieties, with Vermentino being picked in the first decade of September and Viognier in the last days of August. Fermentation is then carried out in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, and bottling occurs in the first days of January.

It presents a beautiful straw yellow color, crossed by slight greenish streaks. The aromas developed on the nose are intense and complex, with notes of white-fleshed fruits like banana and pear, with citrus and floral hints in the finish. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with a sip of pleasant sapidity, minerality, and persistence.

Recommended with appetizers and fish tartare, it pairs excellently with fried seafood and stewed white meats.
