Aromas of raspberries and lemon with floral notes of white flowers and red flowers. Full-bodied, gummy tannins and an acidic, tense finish. Well done. Drink now.

Description

The Bolgheri Bell'Aja by San Felice is a Tuscan red wine made primarily from Merlot grapes sourced from the oldest parcel of the vineyard located in the area of Le Sondraie, in the heart of the Bolgheri designation, with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The typical sandy-silt soil of the area and the vineyard managed with a spurred cordon contribute to giving the wine a distinctive identity and good aging potential.

The winemaking process includes fermentation and maceration of the grapes for a period of 18 days, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 12 months. This process helps preserve the aromatic richness of the fruit and refine the tannic structure, ensuring balance and roundness in the finished wine.

In the glass, it presents an intense violet color and an enveloping bouquet of berry jam enriched by elegant spicy notes. On the palate, it offers a harmonious and enveloping structure, with velvety and well-integrated tannins, resulting in a balanced and pleasantly drinkable wine.

It is ideal paired with duck ragù ravioli, grilled lamb chops, or roast pork.
