Description
The Toscana Rosato Cassiopea from Poggio al Tesoro, the winery of Marilisa Allegrini, originates from the Le Sondraie vineyard, located in the heart of the Bolgheri area.
Produced from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, harvested by hand in the early days of September. A gentle pressing of the whole grapes is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for 20 days. The wine matures on fine lees and further refines for an additional month in the bottle before being released to the market.
With an intense rosé color with violet reflections, it reveals exquisite notes of blackberry and raspberry on the nose, enriched by a pleasant spiciness. On the palate, it is fresh and satisfying, with great lightness.
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs well with bruschetta, fish dishes, light cold cuts, and creamy cheeses. Recommended alongside a good Margherita pizza.
