Description

The Bolgheri Rosso of the Michele Satta Company is the expression of the family vineyards and wants to represent a red of great character and pleasantness.

It is produced 30% from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 30% from Sangiovese grapes, 20% from Merlot grapes, 10% from Syrah grapes and 10% from Teroldego grapes all harvested and carefully selected. Fermentation lasts about 3 weeks and takes place without the addition of artificial yeasts. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in barrique and then for a further 6 months in bottle before being sold.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, enriched with pleasant hints of leather and tobacco on the finish. It is fresh and harmonious on the palate, giving a persistent and elegant finish.

Ideal to accompany all first courses with elaborate meat sauces, it goes perfectly with game and red meat.
