Description
Bolgheri Superiore Levia Gravia di Caccia Al Piano was born in the homonymous estate located in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, in the province of Livorno, near the sea.
It is produced 68% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 25% with Merlot grapes and 7% with Syrah grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 20 months, and for a further 12 months in bottle.
Levia Gravia is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and fruity aroma, with pleasant hints of red fruits and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is rich, with silky and elegant tannins.
Perfect in combination with game, it is ideal to accompany red meats and aged cheeses.
