Description
The Bolgheri rosso Superiore Tam di Batzella takes its name from the Vietnamese word of the same name which means "passion", also defined on the label by the corresponding Chinese ideogram.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. The grapes are vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature. The malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. It is then aged for at least 24 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux and for at least 24 months in the bottle.
Deep ruby red in color, the nose reveals hints of ripe black fruits, blackberries above all, licorice and coffee. The taste is fairly concentrated, with strong and elegant tannins.
To combine with grilled meats, game dishes and aged cheeses.
