Bordeaux AOC Le Petit Ronan 2014 Château Clinet

Le Petit Ronan is a Bordeaux red wine made exclusively from Merlot grapes from the right bank of Bordeaux. It is a project linked to Ronan Laborde, owner of Château Clinet in Pomerol, who wanted to create an accessible yet quality wine, maintaining the elegant style typical of the region. The selected grapes are vinified in the state-of-the-art cellar in Pomerol, with the aim of offering an authentic and modern expression of Merlot.

The winemaking process involves careful fermentation and 12 months of aging, aimed at enhancing the fruit's expressiveness and ensuring balance and drinkability. The production philosophy is oriented towards precision and respect for the raw material, with an approach that favors aromatic purity and softness of the tannins.

In the glass, it presents an intense and deep ruby color. On the nose, it releases complex aromas of raspberry, cherry, and blackcurrant, accompanied by slight spicy notes. On the palate, it is fresh, soft, and smooth, with a lively fruity profile, gentle tannins, and a harmonious finish.

It pairs perfectly with French dishes like confit de canard, or with grilled meats and mushroom-based dishes.
