Description

Le Chiuse's Brunello di Montalcino comes from vineyards located in one of the most renowned estates of Montalcino. Today, it is owned by Simonetta Valiani, granddaughter of Tancredi Biondi-Santi, who, together with her husband Nicolò Magnelli and son Lorenzo, continues to produce wines of exceptional quality and longevity.

It is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, handpicked during the second week of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 29°C for 21 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months before being bottled.

This Brunello di Montalcino features a lively garnet red color. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of cherries and sour cherries, enriched by pleasant floral hints of fragrant violets and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is elegant and pleasantly full-bodied. The wine shows good persistence with fine and velvety tannins.

Perfect for pairing with roasts and braised meats, it is ideal with game and aged cheeses.
