Description

Produced by Fattoria La Lecciaia in the hills of Montalcino, this Brunello Riserva represents an excellence of the Tuscan tradition. Made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, it grows in medium-textured soils with sand and clay deposits, located at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters above sea level.

The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for about 15-20 days, with frequent pump-overs to best extract the aromatic and structural components. Subsequently, the wine matures for a minimum of 48 months in Slavonian oak barrels, with partial aging in barriques, followed by further resting in the bottle for at least 6 months before commercialization.

To the eye, it has an intense ruby red color, enriched by garnet reflections. The bouquet is wide and complex, with notes of ripe berries, sweet spices, and tertiary hints of leather and tobacco. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins that confer structure and elegance. The sip is persistent, harmonious, and slightly tannic, with a balanced and long finish.

Perfect for pairing with grilled red meats, braised game, and aged cheeses.
