Description
The Campania Falanghina Grandilla of the Russo Taurasi cellars is born in vineyards located in San Leucio del Sannio, in an area of ancient Campania wine tradition.
It is produced exclusively with Falanghina grapes, harvested in mid-October and carefully selected. Vinification takes place partly in steel at controlled temperature, to enhance the freshness and aromas of the grape variety, and partly in French oak tonneau, to improve the structure and complexity of the wine. Then the wine is briefly aged in the bottle before being marketed.
Grandilla is a straw yellow wine with elegant golden reflections. The nose opens with pleasant hints of broom, fruity notes of pineapple and apricot and slight nuances of cinnamon and hazelnut. On the palate it reveals an important body, balanced by excellent minerality and correct acidity.
Perfect to accompany appetizers and first courses, it is ideal to accompany courses with white meat and fish.
