Description
Vulcanus Syrah by Encomienda de Cervera is a red wine produced in the heart of Campo de Calatrava, Spain, an area of volcanic origin that gives the wine a distinctive character and pronounced minerality. Made from 100% Syrah grapes grown on clay and stony soils, it is the authentic expression of a unique terroir, capable of imparting strength and identity to the glass.
The vinification process includes 4 months of aging in French oak barriques, enhancing the wine's structure and aromatic complexity. The cultivation follows bio-ecological principles, fully respecting the environment and the characteristics of the volcanic soil from which it originates.
In the glass, it displays an intense and brilliant deep red color. The bouquet is dominated by aromas of ripe red fruits enriched by elegant hints of caramel, while on the palate it is full-bodied, round, and at the same time easy to drink, with a long, pleasing and persistent finish.
It pairs excellently with soups, salads, stews, and aged cheeses such as manchego.
