Description

The Cannonau di Sardegna Senes di Argiolas originates from ancient vineyards located in the hills of Siurgus Donigala, in the historic Sardinian region of Trexenta.

It is produced exclusively with Cannonau grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks, the wine ages for 12 months in small oak barrels and further in glass, before being bottled.

The Senes di Argiolas is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with a purple nail. The nose opens with enveloping aromas of blackberry and plum in jam, enriched with notes of dried roses, tobacco, pepper and cloves. On the palate it is structured and soft, with tannins that soften during the evolution of the wine.

Perfect to accompany first courses and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with dishes based on truffles, game and aged cheeses.
