Valle del Maipo Carmenere Aglianico DO Orizzonti 2018 Dos Almas

Carmenere Aglianico Orizzonti Dos Almas comes from Carmenere grapes from the Trinidad and Maipo Valley vineyards and from Aglianico grapes from Maule Valley.

This complex wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 34% are new and the remaining 66% are second or third passage. Subsequently, the wine rests for 8 months in the bottle.

A red of great complexity, with aromas of wild berries, blackberries and blueberries, notes of pepper and spices and mineral notes. On the palate it is fresh and with an excellent structure and velvety tannins, with a long and persistent finish that does not betray expectations.

Perfect with tasty and succulent roasted and stewed meats such as game, lamb and wild boar.
